NEW HANDICAPPING CHANGES
EFFECTIVE 1 OCTOBER 2019
Your Handicap Index calculation will in future be based on the average of your best 8 Score Differentials from your last 20 scores, with no further adjustment.
All Handicap Indexes will be recalculated overnight on the 30th September 2019. The impact will be different for each golfer, so your Handicap Index on 1 October 2019 might be slightly higher or lower than your current Handicap Index, due to the combination of the average of the best 8 of the last 20 scores and the dropping of the 0.96 multiplier.
The new handicapping changes come into effet on the 1st October 2019.
