Safaris OPEN 4x4 GAME DRIVES Alan Safari's offers 2 hour drives, 3 times a day in open 4 wheel drive vehicles on the well nurtured university Grysbok and Cape Recife nature reserve, guided by *FGASA field guides, both into the reserve and through the coastal zone at the Cape Recife, operational lighthouse. We explore this coastal wonderland, the hardy but beautiful fynbos and the many uses these plants had for the early inhabitants. Springbok, Zebra, Red Hartebeest, and the diminutive, endemic Grysbok as well as the secretive Caracal, occur on the reserve. Additional activities: Walk the Grysbok trail or the coastal Lighthouse route. Bird watching at Cape Recife point and bird hide. Join an interpretive walk through the intertidal zone. Explore the cultural remains of the ancient Khoeikhoei. (Men of Men) in the dune fields.
